Summary:

Ana Madevska Bogdanova was born in 1967 in Skopje. She finished primary and secondary education in Skopje. In 1991 she graduated from the Institute of Informatics at PMF in Skopje as the best graduate student in the current academic year. She started working at the Institute of Informatics as an associate in 1992. In 1996 she received her master's degree and in 2003 she defended her doctoral dissertation. In 2004, 2009 and 2014 she progressed from assistant professor to full professor at FCSE.

The main area of ??scientific interest of prof. Madevska-Bogdanova is the field of artificial intelligent systems - pattern recognition, bioinformatics, biosignals, and also works in the field of education. She has published about 60 papers in her area of ??interest in books, international journals, and proceedings of international and domestic conferences. She has published several teaching aids so far. She has led and participated in several European and domestic scientific and research projects. Madevska-Bogdanova lectured at several foreign universities. During the last 20 years she has had several professional visits to the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium and Maastricht University, the Netherlands. She was invited as a lecturer at the University of Maine, USA. In 2003-2005 she was Head of the Computer Center of II, 2009-2011, Head of the Institute of Informatics, PMF. Since 2019 he is Head of the Institute of Intelligent Systems at FCSE.
